Mary T. (Agnelli) Bourque, 101, of 821 Daniel Shays Highway, Athol, died peacefully Thursday, December 25th in Quabbin Valley Healthcare of Athol, following a brief illness.
Mary was born in Orsogna, Italy on May 25, 1913, the daughter of the late John and Romana (Magno) Agnelli.
She was employed by Seaman Paper Company of Otter River as a paper wrapper for many years.
Mary was a member of St. Martins Church of Otter River.
She enjoyed doing housework, knitting and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Mary was predeceased by her first husband, John Nasiatka, who died in 1962, and by her second husband Robert Bourque who died in 1986.
She leaves one brother, John Agnelli of Gardner; two sisters, Eva Varoli of Baldwinville and Jennie Trinque and her husband Raymond of Templeton; two nieces, Donna and Janet and one nephew, Francis. She was predeceased by two brothers, Domenick and Alfred Agnelli.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 31st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Wednesday, December 31st from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
