Mark P. Kasper, 53, of 33 Fisher Street, Baldwinville, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in his residence, following a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Gardner on August 20, 1960, he was the son of Peter and Theresa (Landry) Kasper.
Mark graduated from Narragansett Regional High School, Baldwinville with the Class of 1978.
He was employed by the Town of Templeton as a Highway Foreman for 17 years.
Mark was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church of Baldwinville. He was also a member of the Otter River Sportman's Club and the Royalston Fish and Game Club.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He loved traveling to York Beach Maine and Cape Cod. Marks greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents of Otter River; Mark leaves his wife of 21 years, Cheryl A. (Woodcome) Kasper of Baldwinville; two sons, Logan F. Kasper and Dylan M. Kasper of Baldwinville; one sister, Mary Amistadi and her husband Gary of East Templeton; two uncles, Joseph Landry and his wife Barbara and Ernest Landry and his wife Florence; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 12th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldwinville. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville.
Calling hours will be Friday, April 11th from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
