Marie E Suchocki

Marie E. (Doiron) Suchocki, 76, of 175 Betty Spring Rd., Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, June 27th in her residence surrounded by her family following a lengthy illness.
Born in Gardner on October 28, 1932, she was the daughter of Leandre and Albertine (Lison) Doiron.
Marie was an Administrative Assistant at North Central Corrections Institute (NCCI) in Shirley for five years until retiring in 1995. She was previously employed by the Internal Revenue Service - Federal Building, Fitchburg, Building Department at Gardner City Hall, Guidance Department at Gardner High School and Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner.
Mrs. Suchocki was a 1951 graduate of Gardner High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. Marie was a Boston Red Sox fan who enjoyed playing bingo and cribbage at the Gardner Senior Center. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of 53 years, Wallace C. Suchocki of Gardner; 2 sons, Glenn R. Suchocki and his wife Amy of Rye, NH, Scott R. Suchocki of Del Rio, TX; a daughter, Cindy L. Anderholm of Dover, NH; a sister, Lorraine Glovins of Gardner; 5 grandchildren, Ericka, Ashley and Evan Anderholm all of Dover, NH, Abigail Suchocki of Rye, NH and Zack Suchocki of Del Rio, TX; one niece, three nephews and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 2nd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Wednesday, July 1st from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heywood Hospital Oncology Department, 242 Green St., Gardner, MA 01440 or to the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association, Hospice Program, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.
