Marie J Sabettini

Marie J. (Poirier) Sabettini, 83, of 50 Pine Street, Gardner, died peacefully, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in her residence, following a brief illness.
Marie was born in Gardner on May 28, 1931, the daughter of the late Philip and Amelia (Boudreau) Poirier.
Marie was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner. She was also a member of the Heywood Hospital Aide Association, where she volunteered in the hospital gift shop.
Marie was an avid bridge player and was a member of the Bridge Club. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, watching television and traveling. Marie treasured time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Sabettini, who died in 1994.
Marie leaves one son, Peter J. Sabettini and his wife Angela of Littleton; four daughters, Deborah M. Sabettini of Beaverton, Oregon, Nancy Lee Lashua and her husband David of Ashurnham, Gail A. Sabettini of Westminster and Lisa A. Swenson and her husband Swen of Westminster; one brother, Walter Poirier of Athol; one sister, Rachel Blais and her husband Chuck of Gardner; ten grandchildren, Nicholas R. Tomasetti, Angela M. Tomasetti, Nils V. Sabettini, Isaac D. Aronson, Nina M. Sabettini, Alysha M. Aronson, Jacob P. Aronson, Erik R. Swenson, Courtney A. Swenson and Amanda L. Lashua; two great-grandchildren, Liliana M. Sabettini and Logen D. Aronson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Rena Poirier; and grandson, Sev Sabettini.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 20th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be Friday, September 19th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
