Marie Rose (Arsenault) LeBlanc, 87, of Templeton, died peacefully Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after an illness.
Born in Rexton, New Brunswick, Canada, on October 31, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Suzanne (Boucher) Arsenault. Marie was a Machine Operator employed by New England Wooden Ware for several years prior to her retirement in 1995. She was previously employed by Mead Container of Gardner.
Marie was a parishioner of St. Martin’s Catholic Church of Otter River. She loved to watch all her grandchildren playing various sports, along with her New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and Celtics. Marie also enjoyed going fishing, bowling, and taking walks on the beach. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her grandchildren, treasuring all the special moments they had together.
Marie is survived by her son, Stephen G. LeBlanc and his wife Kristy of Templeton; four grandchildren, Megan Turner and her husband Robert, Danielle Meier and her husband Joseph, Mallory LeBlanc and her fiancé Anthony Saladini and Matthew LeBlanc; six great-grandchildren, Stephen, Marie, Edward and Madeleine Turner, Wesley, and Benjamin Meier; two sisters, Alma Roy of Gardner and Theresa LeBlanc Moncton, NB, Canada; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Gerard LeBlanc, who died in 1987; and seven brothers, Lionel, Albert, Phillip, Adelard, Gerry, Andrew, and Joseph Arsenault.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St Martin’s Catholic Church, 248 State Road, Templeton, MA. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA, will be held at a later date.
A Calling Hour will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
