Marie Edna (Arsenault) Reynolds, 79, of Gardner died Thursday, November 5th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner surrounded by her family following a brief illness.
Born in Gardner on September 13, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Yvonne (Richard) Arsenault.
Marie was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner and it's Ladies of St. Anne Society.
She loved to cook, and enjoyed watching cooking shows on television and collecting recipes. Marie was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed time spent with her family and traveling.
Marie was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Harold Milton Reynolds, who died March 22, 2001.
She leaves two sons, Richard J. Reynolds and his wife Lynn of Palm Bay, FL and Gary C. Reynolds and his wife Janis of Whitinsville, MA; two daughters, Marie Y. White and her husband John of Templeton and Elizabeth M. Pasquale and her husband Raymond of Gardner; five grandchildren, Susan Johnson, Christopher Pasquale, Joseph Pasquale, Jennifer Pandiscio, Melissa Reynolds; two step-grandchildren, Jessica Dempsey and Sara Fitz; four great-grandchildren, Cassandra Johnson, Dalton Johnson, Emily Pasquale and Elena Pasquale; one step-great-grandchild, Aaron LeBlanc; and three aunts, Bertha Morin, Lena Bouchard and Alyce Cormier; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, November 13th at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
