Marie Ann"Gram" Nichols

Marie Ann "Gram" (Lanoue) Nichols, 76, of Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner, surrounded by her family.
Born in Marlborough, MA on December 7, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Anna (St. Germaine) Lanoue.
Marie was employed in the accounts payable department of Digital Manufacturing Corporation for 24 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of Bethany Bible Chapel of Winchendon.
Marie enjoyed playing Bingo and she loved spending time camping at her cottage in Laconia, NH.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leo F. Nichols, who died in 2007.
Marie leaves two daughters, Anne Marie Olson of Troy, NH, and Linda M. Urato and her husband Daniel of Gardner; one sister, Eleanor LeDuc and her husband Kenneth of Clearwater, FL; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Nicholas, Joshua and Anthony Urato and Matthew, Michael and Alex Olson; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Leo Nichols, Jr who died at birth, brother, Roland Lanoue; and granddaughter, JamieLee Urato.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 31st at 6:30 p.m. in Bethany Bible Chapel, 727 Spring Street, Winchendon. Prior to the Funeral Service, calling hours will be held in the church from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Burial will be held Saturday, April 1st at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beach Street, Marlborough. Relatives and friends are asked to report directly to the cemetery.
