Marie A.""Pauline"" Murray

Marie A. " Pauline" (Drouin) Murray, 87, of 99 Bridge Street, Baldwinville, died Tuesday, April 15th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner following a brief illness.

Born in Gardner on June 12, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Joseph and Beatrice A. (Bourgault) Drouin.

Marie was a Quality Inspector employed by Simplex Time Recorder, Gardner for 25 years, retiring in 1985.

Mrs. Murray attended Gardner High School, Gardner.

She was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Church in Baldwinville, where she was a Lector and CCD instructor. Marie was formerly a member of Holy Cross Church in East Templeton. She was a member of the Templeton Council on Aging.

Marie enjoyed reading, bowling and making rosaries for Missionaries. In her younger years she enjoyed roller-skating. After retiring, Marie enjoyed traveling to visit her children and family.

Mrs. Murray was predeceased by her husband William W. Murray II, who died in 1965.

She leaves five sons, William W. Murray III and his wife Irene of Baldwinville, Robert L. Murray and his wife Helga of Halle, Germany, Richard J. Murray and his wife Christine of Conway, NH, Leo P. Murray and his wife Elaine of Templeton and Alfred J. Murray and his wife Robin of Walterboro, SC; two daughters, Kathleen M. Heintz of Templeton and Leonette P. Holmes and her husband Thomas of Dade City, FL; two brothers, George Drouin and his wife Dorothy of Templeton and Alfred "Freddy" Drouin and his wife Pearl of Templeton; two sisters, Rachel Brouillet of Templeton and Marion Richard of Phillipston; sixteen grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, John Drouin and Eugene Drouin.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Lake Avenue, East Templeton. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, at a later date.
Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday, April 20th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldwinville, MA 01436, or to a Catholic Church of the donor's choice.
