Marie Anne (Pelletier) Landry, 83, of 194 Central St., Gardner, died Monday, July 16th in UMASS Memorial Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by her family following a short illness.
Born in Fitchburg on April 29, 1924, she was the daughter of Henry and Clara (Gelinas) Pelletier.
She was an inspector employed by the Asher Pants Co. of Fitchburg for 41 years until retiring in 1986.
Mrs. Landry was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and enjoyed reading, cooking, bingo and traveling. She liked going to casinos and watching soap operas.
She leaves her husband of 39 years, George E. Landry of Gardner; one sister, Jeanne B. LaFrenier of Morrison, Colorado; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Maurice and Leon Pelletier.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21st with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner. There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
