Marguerite A. (Blain) Tourtellotte, 90, of 125 Connors St., Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, November 23rd in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.
Born in Woonsocket, RI, on September 7, 1915, she was the daughter of Aristide and Celina (Letourneau) Blain.
She was an inspector employed by Harrington & Richardson Mfg. Co. of Gardner for 11 years, retiring in 1977. She was previously employed at Danielson Curtain Co. of Killingly, CT.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed bingo, crafts, cooking, baking, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She was a member of the Gardner Golden Agers and she loved her family and friends.
Her husband of 24 years, Fred Tourtellotte, died in 1976.
She leaves 1 son, Edward Gould and wife Joyce of Portland, CT; 1 daughter, Carol Garner and husband James of Phillipston; beloved stepdaughter, Marjorie Cyr of Edgewater, FL; 4 grandchildren, Chad and Jason Garner, Kevin and Jill Gould; 1 great-grandchild, Ryan Garner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 6 brothers, Aristide Jr., Florent, Lucien, Marcel, Ferdinand, Morris Blain and 2 sisters, Germaine Blain and Yvonne Ayotte.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 28th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, November 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
