Marguerite M. (Faucher) Robichaud, 78, of 125 Connors Street, Gardner died peacefully Friday, April 2nd in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner surrounded by her family.
Marguerite was born in Gardner on December 18, 1931, the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Laudia (Richard) Faucher.
Prior to retiring in 1996, Marguerite was a Home Health Care Worker employed the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association for 10 years. She was previously employed by Catholic Charities for 12 years.
Marguerite was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Her hobbies included knitting and reading. She enjoyed watching the Catholic Mass on television and also the game shows, Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Marguerite was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Henri J. Robichaud, who died January 20, 2010.
She leaves one son, Peter J. Robichaud of Gardner; three grandchildren, Corey Robichaud, Hannah Robichaud and Amy Robichaud; one great-grandchild, Keanna Lewis; and a special sister-in-law, Claire Robichaud of Leominster. Marguerite was predeceased by three sons, Michael P. Robichaud who died in 2009, Ronald J. Robichaud who died in 2003 and Robert J. Robichaud who died in 1976.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 17th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Saturday, April 17th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
