Margaret M. "Peggy" (Langevin) Sparks, 67, of 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Legend Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner.
Peggy was born in Newport, Vermont on April 16, 1944, the daughter of the late Eugene and Blanche (Salls) Langevin.
She was a Nurses Aide at various local nursing homes for many years.
Peggy enjoyed playing bingo and cards, listening to music and doing puzzles. Her favorite television shows were "Mash", "The Wheel of Fortune" and "The Price is Right". She also enjoyed watching comedy shows and soap operas.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 4 years, Eric Pakkala, who died in 1998.
She leaves two sons, Brian Burgess and Nicky Burgess both of Oxford; one daughter, Jane M. Grant and her husband Kenneth of Winchendon; five grandchildren, Jason Richard, Steven Grant, Michael, Becky and Maria Silvoroli; and one great grandson, Nathan Grant. She was predeceased by a daughter, Janet Blodgett who died in 2009 and one grandson, Tommy Richard who died in 1987.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 24th at 2:00 in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
There are no calling hours.
