Margaret A. Nicholson

Margaret A. "Peg" Nicholson, 81, of 1199 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg, and formerly of 199 High St., Gardner, died Thursday, April 7th in the Birchwood Care Center, Fitchburg, following a long illness.
Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada on June 14, 1923, she was the daughter of Daniel J. and Anne (MacNeil) Nicholson.
She was a secretary last employed by Collier-Keyworth Co. of Gardner for 2 years, retiring in 1988. She was previously employed by Albert Locke Co. of Gardner.
She was a 1941 graduate of Templeton High School and was its class secretary. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church.
She enjoyed traveling, doing crafts and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
She leaves 4 brothers, Michael W. Nicholson of Gardner, John J. Nicholson of Ingonish, Nova Scotia, Canada, Martin J. Nicholson of San Luis Obispo, CA and Daniel W. Nicholson of Montvale, NJ; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 11th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Spirit Church, 50 Lovewell St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Monday, April 11th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
