Marcia J. MacAloney

Marcia J. MacAloney, 73, of Templeton, died peacefully Friday, February 21, 2025, in Wachusett Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner, after a period of declining health with her family by her side.

Born in Gardner on December 2, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred (Nutting) MacAloney. She attended Oakmont Regional High School. She was a clerk employed by Maki Building Center for many years until her retirement. She was previously employed by Rich’s Department Store.

Marcia loved to travel; whether it was a day trip adventure or visiting her brother in Texas, she cherished each trip. She enjoyed going for motorcycle rides and her pets. Marcia’s greatest love and treasure was her family, cherishing the memories made.

Marcia is survived by her daughter, Michelle Guertin of Athol; three sons, Doug Guertin of Ludlow, Jason Guertin of Hubbardston, and Ricky Roberts of Athol; ten grandchildren, Dylan, Maura, Maddie, Emma, Molly, Anderson, Brady, Ethan, Riley, and Caroline; two brothers, Keith MacAloney of Gardner, and Scott MacAloney and his wife Pauline of El Paso, TX; her longtime partner, Jim Allen of Templeton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her sister, Pam MacAloney.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Funeral Services will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial in Green Bower Cemetery, Winter Street, Gardner, MA, will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
