Marcia A. Jalbert

Marcia A. (Sundnas) Jalbert, 70, of Gardner, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, in Hartford Hospital, Harford, CT, after complications from COVID-19.

Born in Gardner on August 10, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Eskil and Margaret (Brown) Sundnas. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1970 and went on to receive her Associates Degree from Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner. Marcia was a Caretaker employed by the Fernald School in Templeton for many years.

Marcia loved to read and enjoyed helping people throughout the community no matter what it was. But her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family especially her granddaughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa G. Jalbert and her significant other Diego Rodriguez of Gardner; one granddaughter, Kiara Masso of Gardner; two sisters, Donna Melatti and her husband Clifton of Gardner, Karen Ouellette of Gardner; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. in Green Bower Cemetery, Winter Street, Gardner, MA.
