Mandy J. (Jones) Bell, 41, of 22 Boxwood Circle, Fitchburg died peacefully Thursday, February 18th in the Lahey Clinic, Burlington following a long illness.
Born in Buxton, England on November 7, 1968, she was the daughter of Allen R. and Patricia A. (Whiting) Jones of Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Mandy graduated from Bellevue East High School, Omaha, Nebraska with the Class of 1987.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Gardner.
Mandy's hobbies included scrap booking, figure skating, cooking and baking. She enjoyed watching CSI, Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman and Bones on television. Mandy was active in her church, her community and local Boy Scout Troop 111 of Gardner where she served as Advancement Chairperson. She was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America. She was a loving and protective big sister. She took pride in home schooling her children and helping others. Mandy was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend.
Mandy was the beloved wife of Christopher A. Bell of Fitchburg for 17 years.
Besides her parents, she leaves four children whom she was the proud Mama Bear of - three sons, Jarom M. Bell, Jacob M. Bell and Joshua M. Bell and one daughter, Megan C. Bell all of Fitchburg; her paternal grandmother, Queeni Isabelle Pierce of Jacksonville, NC; five brothers, Jonathan M. Jones and his wife Mary of Nottingham, England, J. Martin Jones and his wife Wanda of VA, Damien M. Jones and his wife Michelle of Orlando, FL, Army Corporal Benjamin A. Jones and his wife Laeu of Fort Campbell, TN and Lance Corporal Marine Matthew P. Jones of San Diego, CA; four sisters, Charlotte E. Jones of Bakersfield, CA, Esther J. Stephens of Jacksonville, NC, Meredith A. Olson and her husband Adam of Gardner and Meghan C. Jones of Jacksonville, NC; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 24th at 9:00 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 634 Pearl Street, Gardner. Burial will be at a later date in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February 23rd in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 634 Pearl Street, Gardner from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
