Madelon L Morrell

Madelon Louise (Sabean) Morrell, 82, of Baldwinville, died peacefully Wednesday, March 8, 2017, surrounded by her family.
Madelon was born in Brighton, MA on June 20, 1934, the daughter of the late Ralph and Martha (Wilson) Sabean.
She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1952, and earned her Nursing Degree from Tewksbury State Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. She attended the Zion Bible Institute of Haverhill from 1957 through 1960.
Madelon was employed in the Special Education office of Narragansett Regional School District of Baldwinville for six years, retiring in 2004. She was previously employed as a Nurse by Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner for several years, and also the former Gardner Manor of Gardner.
Madelon was a member of the Bread of Life Church of Westminster.
She enjoyed spending time reading, coloring, knitting, crocheting and crafting. Madelon loved spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Andrew H. Morrell; three sons, James B. Morrell of Fitchburg, Charles A. Morrell of Fitchburg and Mark A. Morrell and his wife Kelley of Keene, NH; four grandchildren, Nickolas, Samantha, Zackary and Joseph Morrell; one great-grandchild, Nico Anderson; two step-grandchildren, Kayla and Lauren McCarthy; two step-great-grandchildren, Brianna Ashton and Audrina Hamlin; one niece, three nephews and several cousins. Madelon was predeceased by her sister, Stasia Wiinkainen; and grandson, Jonathan Morrell.
Graveside Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
