Madeleine J. (Robichaud) LeBlanc, 94, of 99 Allen Street, Rutland, VT, formerly of 19 City Hall Avenue and Robillard Street, Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, September 14th in Vermont.
Born in Gardner on January 4, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Alectance and Denise (Lavigne) Robichaud.
Madeleine was a graduate of Holy Rosary Academy, Gardner, MA, class of 1930.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, and it's Ladies of St. Anne Society. Madeleine was active in the annual Holy Rosary Church Bazaars. She was also a member of the Gardner Golden Agers and A.A.R.P.
Madeleine enjoyed watching television, listening to "old time" music and listening to the French program on WGAW, Gardner every Sunday morning.
She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Edward A. LeBlanc who died December 10, 1986.
She leaves one son, Robert E. LeBlanc and his wife Joyce of Bradford, MA; two daughters, Gloria H. Ley and her husband John of Rutland, VT., and Annette L. Dewey and her husband Raymond of North Grosvenor Dale, CT; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her ten siblings.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 17th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will immediately follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home is Wednesday, September 17th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
