M. Aurore (Laliberte) (Henry) DesBois, 91, of 32 Hospital Hill Rd., Gardner and formerly of 83 Chestnut St., Gardner died Monday, March 22nd in the Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Rumford, ME on July 12, 1912, she was the daughter of Damace and Annie (Bisson) Laliberte.
She was a sander employed by the former Heywood-Wakefield Co. of Gardner until retiring in 1975.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its Ladies of St. Anne Society. She was a member of the Women's Auxiliary, V.F.W. Ovila Case Post 905 of Gardner.
Her first husband, Arthur Henry died in 1952 and her last husband, Edmond C. DesBois died in 1990.
She leaves 2 daughters, Theresa M. Cormier and Elaine M. Richard both of Gardner; 1 sister, Edda Gosselin of Gardner; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Arthur R. Henry, 3 brothers, Robert, Leo and Arthur Laliberte and 2 sisters, Yvonne Henry and Florence Drega.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.
Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, in the Spring.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Wednesday morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
