M. Antonine Cormier

March 1, 1914 — July 20, 2004

M. Antonine "Toni" (Allain) Cormier, 90, of 386 Chestnut St. and formerly of 125 Connors St., Gardner died Tuesday, July 20th in her residence following an illness.

Born in Bouctouche, NB, Canada on March 1, 1914, she was the daughter of Ambroise and Marie (Larcenaire) Allain.

She was a sales clerk employed by the former Goodnow-Pearson Co. of Gardner for 20 years, retiring in 1976. She was previously employed by Florence Stove Co. of Gardner.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.


Her husband was the former Joseph A. Henry Cormier of Gardner.

She leaves 2 daughters, Jane E. Czasnowski of Gardner with whom she lived, and Joyce Ann Wilson of Tucson, AZ; 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial of cremains will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.

There are no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440 or to the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association, Hospice Program, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.

The Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner is in charge of arrangements.
