M. Rachel Cormier

M. Rachel (Arsenault) Cormier, 75, of 145 Regan St., Gardner, died Monday, October 4th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Gardner on May 5, 1929, she was the daughter of Jean Baptiste and Adelma (LeBlanc) Arsenault.
She was a stitcher employed by Collier-Keyworth Co. of Gardner for 20 years until retiring in 1982.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Baldwinville and Ladies of St. Anne Society of Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
She enjoyed needlework especially sewing, knitting and crocheting.
She leaves her husband of 55 years, Joseph R. Cormier of Gardner; 1 son, Phillip R. Cormier of Gardner; 2 daughters, Diane M. Borey and husband Clarence "Ozzie" Borey of Winter Park, FL, Sandra A. Divoll and husband Rocky of Baldwinville; 4 grandchildren, Shaun & Nicholas Borey of Winter Park, FL, Christina and Alexander Divoll of Baldwinville; 1 aunt, Beatrice Hudson; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest St., Baldwinville. Burial in MA Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon, will be at a later date.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
