Lucille (Michaud) Martin, 93, of Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, August 1, 2018 in her residence, following a brief illness.
Lucille was born in Edmundston, N.B. Canada on November 21, 1924, the son of the late Joseph and Annee (Lagasse) Michaud.
She was educated in the public school system and earned her high school degree in Edmundston, N.B. Canada. Lucille was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
She was employed by Nichols and Stone Company of Gardner as a finisher for many years, retiring in 1992.
Lucille enjoyed playing cribbage, making puzzles and knitting. She loved the holidays and she treasured spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hector Martin, who died February 14, 1993.
Lucille leaves three sons, Renald Martin and his wife Debra of Gardner, Gilles Martin and his wife Leola of Gardner, and Andre Martin and his fiancé Diane Ruiz of Gardner; two brothers, Louis Michaud of Montreal Canada and Normand Michaud of Grand Falls, N.B. Canada; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Allain Michaud; and two sisters, Adrienne Michaud and Jeanne Michaud.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 6th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, August 5th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
