Lucille Burdett

Lucille (Grosvenor) Burdett, 83, of 217 Conant Street, Gardner died peacefully, Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness.
Born in Princeton on September 9, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Bertha L. (Clark) Grosvenor, Sr.
Lucille graduated from Princeton High School with the Class of 1948.
She spent her life as a homemaker and her family was the most important aspect of her life. She loved spending time with them, attending family reunions and cookouts. She enjoyed walking and reading. She loved a good conversation; discussing politics and current events.
Lucille was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Randolph Burdett, who died in 2004.
She leaves six sons, Newton R. Burdett of Baldwinville, Gregory L. Burdett and his wife Vanessa of Ventura, CA, Mark S. Burdett and his wife Celeste of Baldwinville, Gary S. Burdett and his wife Ilene of East Templeton, Cory T. Burdett of Ventura, CA, Kent M. Burdett of Phillipston; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Penney and her husband Steven of Gardner; sixteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one son, Keith Burdett; two brothers, Chester Grosvenor, Jr and David Grosvenor; and three sisters, Gerdaline Anderson, Gladys Bauckman and Constance Grosvenor.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be Friday, October 11th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
