Lucille M. (Pelletier) Astromowicz, 87, of 317 Pleasant Street, Gardner, died Sunday August 5th in Heywood Hospital following a short illness.
She was born in Fitchburg on December 16, 1919, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Chartier) Pelletier.
Lucille was a homemaker. She was previously employed by Simplex Time Recorder for several years, Ray's Peter Pan and was also a "Nanny".
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Lucille enjoyed playing cards, doing upholstery, listening to country music and watching television.
She was predeceased by her husband of 38 years, Chester Astromowicz, who died December 30, 1988.
Lucille leaves two daughters, Joyce D. Clayter and Cynthia N. Pelletier both of Gardner; one brother, Alfred Pelletier of Ashburnham; one grandson, Ramsey E. Clayter of Gardner; one great-grandson, Richard Clayter of Gardner; one aunt, Mary and her husband Joseph Dunbar of Fitchburg, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Rene Pelletier and Edward Pelletier.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 9th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Thursday, August 9th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
