Lucien M"Luc" Bosse

Lucien M. "Luc" Bosse, 81, of 45 Talcott Avenue, Gardner, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner after being stricken ill at his residence.
Born in St. Jacques, N.B. Canada on July 27, 1932, he was the son of the late Magliore and Maria (Lemieux) Bosse.
Lucien was a lumberjack who owned and operated Bosse Logging for 40 years, retiring in 1995.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was also a member of the Beagle Club of Gardner and the Acadien Social Club of Gardner.
In his spare time, Lucien enjoyed splitting wood and spending time with his grandchildren.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Lorraine (Jalbert) Bosse of Gardner; one son, Guy L. Bosse and his wife Cheryl of Gardner; four daughters, Shirley P. Bosse and her significant other, John Howe of Winchendon, Carol J. Mullen and her husband John of White River Junction, VT, Charlene D. Koren of Templeton and Tammy G. and her husband Dean; one brother, Rene "Pat" Bosse and his wife Angeline of Lewiston, Maine; four sisters, Antonia Toussaint of N.B. Canada, Eva Lebel of Montreal Canada, Renelle Clavette of N.B. Canada and Lillian Berube of N.B. Canada; seven grandchildren, Caitlin Bosse, Catharine Bosse, Rebecca Mullen, Nicholas Mullen, Zachary Koren, Mitchell Koren and Matthew; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Reno and Antonio Bosse.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 27th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours will be Monday, May 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
