Louise A. (Therrien) Favreau, 84, of Applewood Rest Home, 176 South Royalston Rd., Athol and formerly of 125 Connors St., Gardner, died Friday, June 1st in the Quabbin Valley Health Care, Athol.
Born in Gardner on July 16, 1922, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Herminie (Perreault) Therrien.
She was a caser employed by Selig Mfg. Co. of Leominster for 20 years until retiring in 1983. She previously was employed by the former Kuniholm Mfg. Co. of Gardner.
Mrs. Favreau was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, the Gardner Golden Agers and A.A.R.P. She was a loyal Boston Red Sox and Boston Patriots Fan. She enjoyed line dancing and loved her grandchildren.
Her husband, Robert F. Favreau, died in 1989.
She leaves a daughter-in-law, Georgianna C. Favreau of Baldwinville; 9 grandchildren, Steven D., Mark R., Russell A., Donald A., Bruce R., Brian K., David R. Favreau, Cheryl A. Partridge and Charlene L. Williams; 24 greatgrandchildren, and 2 great-greatgrandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Donald R. Favreau of Baldwinville who died in 1986 and 15 brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 5th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, June 4th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
