Louis J. LeBlanc, 90, of 51 Hospital Rd., Baldwinville, died Wednesday, May 25th in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, following an illness.
Born in Gardner on June 3, 1914, he was the son of Pierre and Osithe (LeBlanc) LeBlanc.
He was a quality control inspector employed by Ratheon Co. of Andover for 23 years, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post #129 of Gardner and A.A.R.P. He was a loyal fan of Boston Patriots and Red Sox.
He was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran and received the American Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
His wife of 57 years, Pearl C. (McKellick) LeBlanc died in 1996.
He leaves a son Timothy J. LeBlanc and wife Sandra of Gardner; a daughter Virginia A. Beauregard and husband Charles of Reading; 2 grandchildren Robert and Amy Beauregard; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by 5 brothers, Alphonse, Alyre, Adelard, Arthur and Leo LeBlanc and 4 sisters, Helen, Merilda, Yvonne LeBlanc and Delia Roy.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, May 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
