Lorraine E. "Lou" (Trinque) Dagelis, 90, of 187 Snake Pond Rd., Gardner, died Tuesday, January 6th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, following a short illness.
Born in Gardner on May 3, 1918, she was the daughter of Louis and Delvina (Chartier) Trinque.
Lorraine was an office clerk employed by the former Heywood-Wakefield Co. of Gardner for several years, retiring in 1972.
Mrs. Dagelis was a 1935 graduate of Gardner High School. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
Lorraine was an avid sports fan, especially of the Boston College Football Team, the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. She took much pleasure in entertaining her family and many friends. Lorraine enjoyed playing cards, golfing, traveling, watching television bowling programs and particularly watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.
She leaves her husband of 57 years, Stanley C. Dagelis of Gardner; a sister, Annette Tiihonen of Gardner; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Robert and Armand Trinque.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, January 9th from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
