Lorraine M. (Cormier) Arsenault, 84, of 139 Blanchard Street, Gardner, died peacefully, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in the Lutheran Rehab and Skilled Care Center of Worcester, following a brief illness.
Lorraine was born in Gardner on July 27, 1930, the daughter of the late Donut and Delia (Cormier) Cormier.
She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1948.
Lorraine was employed by the City of Gardner as a Clerk in the Gardner Water Department for several years, retiring in in 1985.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Lorraine enjoyed knitting, reading and traveling.
She leaves one daughter, Gail E. Montville of Worcester; two brothers, Don Cormier and Armand Cormier and his wife Anita of Las Vegas, NV; one grandchild, Taylor Arsenault; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sons, Thomas Arsenault and Michael Arsenault; and by one brother, Roger Cormier.
Funeral Services and burial will be held at a later date.
