Lisa M. Richard

Lisa Marie Richard, 45, of Gardner, passed away suddenly from a medical emergency on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

Born in her lifelong home, Gardner, MA on September 30, 1977, she was the adoring daughter of Val and Patricia (Bourque) Cormier. She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1995. Lisa was a Communications Dispatcher for Central Mass Communications Service and loved being able to work from home to take care of her daughters.

Lisa cherished her time with her family and had fun planning their yearly vacations and watching her loved ones enjoy every minute. She was a dedicated mom who did everything for her two daughters as well as her dogs Roxci and Behr. Lisa was a beam of light in everyone’s lives and always ensured the people she loved were happy and taken care of. She kept herself busy undertaking projects to build her dream house and enjoying time making her friends and family laugh. Lisa was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of person who will be missed dearly by everyone who was lucky enough to cross her path.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Keith Richard of Gardner; two daughters, Araya and Keili Richard of Gardner; her dad, Val Cormier and his wife, Denise of Gardner, and her mom Patricia Cormier and her life partner, Rick Jones of Baldwinville; three brothers, Jamey J. Cormier and his wife Brook of Independence, KY, Rick Jones and his family of Philipston, and Ryan Jones and his family of Athol; one sister, Christine Hamilton of Gardner; her mother and father-in-law, Rosanne and Gordon Richard of Gardner; one sister-in-law, Charlene Richard of Leominster; her best friends, Julie LaPrise and Dena St Pierre of Gardner; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Calling Hours will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the PACC Pavilion, 171 Kendall Pond Road W, Gardner, MA 01440.
