Linda D. (Boyer) Thibeau, 61, of 7 Leamy Street, Gardner died peacefully Tuesday, October 27th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, surrounded by her family, following a lengthy illness.
Linda was born in Leominster on November 11, 1947, the daughter of Ronald E. and Mary R. (Salafia) Boyer.
From the time Linda moved to Gardner, her dream was to work in Gardner City Hall - a dream she achieved. Linda was employed for several years by the City of Gardner, first as a clerk in the Board of Health Department and then as Senior Clerk for the Gardner Water Department. Prior to working for the City of Gardner, Linda was employed by Spectro Coating of Leominster as a purchasing agent.
Linda graduated from Leominster High School, Leominster with the Class of 1966. She later attended Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner and received a Certificate in Business.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Linda enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved watching horror movies on television, playing on-line games, listening to music and dancing. Her favorite season was the Fall.
Linda is survived by her husband of 43 years, Donald Thibeau of Gardner; her mother, Mary R. (Salafia) Boyer of Leominster; one son, Scott A. Thibeau of Gardner; two daughters, Nicole M. Lubao and her husband Bernie of Gardner and Marcie L. Lambert and her husband Daniel of Winchendon; one brother, Ronald E. Boyer, Jr and his wife Susan of Athol; one sister, Robin Dantini and her husband Donald of Leominster; three grandchildren, Matthew G. Lubao of Gardner, Kristen M. Gaudet and Cayden D. Lambert both of Winchendon; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, October 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
