Linda M. (Cameron) Severance, 62, of 379 West Royalston Road, Athol, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Brigham and Women's Hospital, Boston, following an illness.
Born in Dorchester on May 1, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Marion Cameron.
Linda graduated from Quincy High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from Bridgewater State University in 1974.
She was employed for 19 years by Cumberland Farms of East Templeton, retiring in 2013.
Linda enjoyed reading, crocheting, writing children's stories and watching her favorite movie "Cinderella".
She leaves one son, Spencer W. Severance of Tampa, FL; two daughters, Athena M. Severance of Athol and Lara C. Severance of Athol; one step-daughter, Cassandra Severance of Ashland; two brothers, Paul Cameron of Swanzey, NH and Jackie (Jack) Cameron of Shirley, NY; one sister, Gail Mondeau and her husband Louie of West Bridgewater, MA; four grandchildren, Vincent Severance, Norberto Casstellano III, Emma Grant and Owen Grant; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 11th at 8:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Calling hours will be Friday, July 11th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, New England Division, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
