Linda M. "Buttons" (Bartlett) Reynolds, 51, of 38 Church St., Orange, died Tuesday, January 17th in her residence after a lengthy battle with Non-Hodgkins lymphoma.
Born in Athol on December 8, 1954, she was the daughter of John Bartlett.
She was a private caregiver last employed in the Winchendon area. She was previously a caregiver employed at the Templeton Developmental Center of Templeton for 6 years.
She was a 1972 graduate of Gardner High School.
Linda was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Athol. She enjoyed arts and crafts especially cross-stitching, needlepoint, macrame, home decorating, holiday decorating, pottery and painting. She volunteered at the Special Olympics. She enjoyed baking and caring for her house plants. She was fond of outdoor activities such as hiking at Quabbin Reservoir, running, snow-shoeing, camping, traveling in Europe, the Grand Canyon and attending Mardi-Gras. She also enjoyed music and attending concerts.
She leaves her husband of 22 years, Richard William Reynolds of Orange; 2 daughters, Amanda L. Bartlett-Camden and husband Randy of Springfield, IL, Stephanie C. Bartlett-Reynolds of Orange; 1 brother, John Bartlett and wife Judy of Gardner; 3 grandchildren, Mackenzie L., Cloe R. and Kyle E. Camdan all of Springfield, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves dear friends, Tim Fowler, Claudette LaFountain, Leeann Daigle, Sherry Waldron and Steven McDonald.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 21st @ 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Graveside services will be held Monday, January 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, January 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
