Linda L Eck

Linda L. (Knutson) Eck, 51, of 83 Pearly Lane, Gardner died peacefully, Saturday, March 22, 2014 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, surrounded by her family, following a courageous four month battle with leukemia.
Born in Leominster on October 7, 1962, she was the daughter of Maurice and Mafalda (Rotondi) Knutson.
Linda graduated from Leominster High School, Leominster with the class of 1979. She attended Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner.
Prior to retiring due to illness, Linda was an Account Specialist employed by Veolia Environmental Services of Marlborough for four years. She was previously employed by Applied Mechanical Consulting of Austin, TX.
Linda enjoyed gardening, crafts and knitting. She was also a member of several Tart Candle Groups. Linda was a strong, compassionate, independent woman who was friendly to all. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves one son, Joshua P. Eck of Lockhart, TX; one daughter, Melissa A. Eck and her husband Stefano Sanchez of Kyle, TX; her high school sweetheart and fiancé, Raymond "Timmy" Dupuis, and his son Ryan and wife Jessica Dupuis; four sisters, Mary McNaughton and her husband Cliff of Windsor, VT, Anna Skehan and her husband James of Westminster, Theresa Stockwell and her husband Ed of Gardner and Gail Knutson of Los Angeles, CA; her former husband, Paul Eck of Lockhart, TX; three grandchildren, Abbey N. Sanchez, Lexi Ann Dupuis and Lacey Grace Dupuis; several loving nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Somers.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Friday, March 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
