Linda E. Dinsmore

Linda E. (White) Dinsmore, 87, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Baldwinville Nursing Home.

Born in Fitchburg, MA on March 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Arlene L. (McKenney) White. Linda graduated from Leominster High School with the Class of 1956 and received her associate’s degree in Secretarial Sciences from Fisher Junior College in Boston. Linda worked as the secretary for the Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District for 22 years until her retirement in 2000.

Linda was an active parishioner of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Gardner, MA. She was a member of the Montachusett Quilters Guild serving as its secretary. Linda loved to help others and was a caregiver for many people through the years. She loved to sew and spend time in her gardens in the Summer and watch her beloved Patriots in the Fall. Linda’s greatest joy was her family, treasuring all the special memories made throughout the years.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Colleen L. Moya and her husband Terry of Centennial, CO, and Deborah E. Courtemanche and her husband Jeffrey of Enfield, CT; a son, Dean D. Dinsmore and partner Leisa Perrotta of Swanzey, NH; six grandchildren; Cole Courtemanche and Jill Samuda, Brooke and Madison Dinsmore, and Lauren Dorsey and Jack Reilly; a brother, A. Dexter White and his wife Patricia of Lunenburg.

She was predeceased by her husband George D. Dinsmore and a sister; Priscilla A. Federici.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday March 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 79 Cross Street, Gardner, MA. The burial will be held at New Cemetery, Hastings Road, Ashburnham, MA.

There are no calling hours. Please report directly to the church on the day of the service.
