Linda A. (Foster) Clark, 76, of Gardner, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 11, 2024, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner, after a period of declining health.
Born in Auburn on February 25, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Phyllis (Arnold) Foster. She graduated from Auburn High School with the Class of 1966. Linda was employed in the accounting department of Worcester County National Bank for many years until her retirement.
Linda was an avid outdoorsperson who loved biking and whitewater rafting in the warmer months and skiing in the colder ones. She enjoyed dining out with her dear friend, John. However, her greatest joy was her family, and she cherished the memories they created over the years.
Linda is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey Burns and his wife Lori of Barre and James Burns and his wife Becky of Phillipston; two grandchildren, Tyler and Alyssa Burns; her companion, John Fronte of Gardner; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 23 years, Leonard E. Clark, who died in 2005; and her two sisters, Cynthia Sullivan and Norma LaBrie.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
