Linda L. (Kirby) Augusto, 72, of 70 Banner Road, Gardner, died peacefully Monday, August 12, 2013 in Keystone Center, Leominster, following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Linda was born in Gardner on March 10, 1941, the daughter of the late Harvey J. and Leona (LeBlanc) Kirby.
She was a 1959 graduate of Gardner High School, Gardner.
Linda was a homemaker for many years. She was previously employed by Stop 'n Shop in Gardner as a cashier.
She was a member of Holy Spirit Church in Gardner.
Linda enjoyed shopping, dining out, gardening and knitting. Her most enjoyable times were those spent with her grandchildren and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Joseph Augusto, who died in 1995.
Linda leaves one daughter, Michel L. Kirby of Gardner; two sons, Scott J. Augusto and Ross M. Augusto both of Gardner; one brother, Raymond Kirby and his wife Annette of Leominster; two grandchildren, Cody and Jolie Goguen; several nieces nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Leo Kirby.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
