Lillian G. Yost

Lillian G. (Faria) Yost, 86, of Gardner, died unexpectedly Monday, August 12, 2024, in her home.

Born in West Warwick, Rhode Island, on September 24, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Marie (Bernier) Faria. She attended the Ellis School in Cambridge. Lillian was a lab assistant employed by Brandeis University in Waltham for several years prior to her retirement.

Lillian was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Watertown. She loved to talk politics especially about Donald Trump, dance, work in her yard and being a homemaker.

Lillian is survived by her eight children, Steven Marchant, Irene Harrington, Barron Marchant and his wife Rose Marie, Joanne Marchant , Brian Marchant, Suzanne Marchant, Ernest Marchant, and Deborah Kristy and her husband William; eight grandchildren, seven grandchildren; four sisters, Michelle Faria, Annette Dorsie, Carol McNeal and her husband James and Marcelle Cicero; a brother, Roger Faria and his wife Janice; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her husband of 11 years, Karl K. Yost, who died in 2015.
