Lillian M. "GiGi" (Anderson) Croteau, 75, of 71 Lake St., Gardner died Wednesday, August 4th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner following an illness.
Born in Ashburnham on February 16, 1929, she was the daughter of Martin and Elsie (Guy) Anderson.
She was last employed as a bus monitor for the Heritage Truck & Transit Co. She was previously a housekeeper employed by various families in the Topsfield area.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the V.F.W. Women's Auxillary Chapter 70 of Gardner.
She enjoyed bingo, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her husband of 39 years, Harold F. Croteau died in 1988.
She leaves 3 sons, David H. Croteau and wife Barbara of Rindge, NH, James R. Croteau and companion Diane Smith of Gardner, Dennis A. Croteau of Phoenix, AZ; 4 brothers, Edward Anderson of Michigan, Raymond Anderson of New York, Donald Anderson of Arizona and Robert Anderson of Gardner; 5 sisters, Rita Anderson, Phyllis Gilbert both of Gardner, Dorothy Anderson of Winchendon, Barbara Lamb of Lunenburg, Loretta Susan Marvel of Fitchburg; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 sons, Stephen Croteau and Lawrence Croteau, 1 daughter, Linda Canu Smith, 3 brothers, Martin Jr., William and Richard and 1 sister Irene Farrar.
