Leo A. "Biz" LaRoche, 82, of 104 Church St., Gardner died Thursday, August 12th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Gardner on February 18, 1922, he was the son of Arthur and Rose A. (Rochefort) LaRoche.
He was a rush seater / supervisor employed by S. Bent Bros. Co. of Gardner for 20 years until retiring in 1989.
Mr. LaRoche enjoyed traveling.
His wife of 49 years, Alberta M. (Harmon) LaRoche died in 1991.
He leaves 5 sons, Ronald L. LaRoche of Gardner, Richard W. LaRoche and wife Linda L. of Gardner, Arthur W. LaRoche and wife Margaret of Hampton, VA, Douglas A. LaRoche and wife Pamela of North Brookfield, Edward T. LaRoche and wife Julie of Ashburnham; 2 sisters, Louise Landry of Baldwinville and Jeannette Pitkiewicz of Ashburnham; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda A. Perreault of Gardner, 2 brothers, Arthur and Napoleon LaRoche, 3 sisters, Alice Dupre, Aurore Valois and Germaine Theriault.
Calling hours at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner, will be at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oncology Department of Heywood Hospital, 242 Green St., Gardner, MA 01440.
