Lena S. (Cormier) Rios, 41, of 401 Otter River Road, Templeton died suddenly Wednesday, November 21, 2012 in her residence.
Born in Gardner on August 20, 1971, she was the daughter of Arthur J. and Lorraine (Cormier) Cormier of Gardner.
Lena was a stay at home Mom, and was previously employed by the Templeton Developmental Center in Templeton as a caretaker.
She received her GED in 1995. Lena was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Woman's Auxiliary in Gardner.
She enjoyed traveling to Maine, cooking, crocheting and going to the beach. She liked to spend time out, enjoying life. She was compassionate and always willing to help others. Lena touched many lives, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she leaves her husband of 20 years, Armando L. Rios of Templeton; one son, Carlos A. Rios of Templeton; one daughter, Samantha R. Rios of Templeton; one brother, John Cormier and his wife Tamela of Gardner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no Funeral Services.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, November 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Memorial contributions, which will be forwarded to the foundation of Moya Moya Disease, may be made to UMASS Memorial Medical Center, c/o Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
