Lempi M. Allain

Lempi M. (Reinikainen) Allain, 84, of 40 Pond St., Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, April 14th in Life Care of Leominster, Leominster, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on January 1, 1925, she was the daughter of Albin and Ida (Kauppinen) Reinikainen.
She was a riveter employed by the former O.W.Siebert Co. of Gardner for several years.
Lempi was a 1943 graduate of Gardner High School. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Gardner. Mrs. Allain enjoyed bowling and watching television, especially Bonanza and Westerns on Channel 64.
She leaves her husband of 55 years, Norman J. Allain of Gardner; a brother, Waino Reinikainen and his wife Alice of Gardner; a sister, Sally Moore and her husband Thomas of Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dianna Sue Allain who died in 1969, a brother, Toivo Reinikainen and 7 sisters, Aino Marr, Laine Stafford, Martha Zbikowski, Veino Kujanpaa, Miriam and Toini Reinikainen, and Saimi Zibkowski.
Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 627 Green St., Gardner, MA 01440.
