Konstatinos "Charlie" Moutsos, 76, of 38 Main Street, Gardner died suddenly September 14th in Kefalori, Greece, while on vacation.
He was born in Peireus, Greece on October 2, 1930, the son of the late George and Vasiliki Moutsos. He had lived in the United States since 1968.
"Charlie" was a chef, and at the time of his death was employed at the Paramount Café in Gardner, where he had worked for 39 years. He was previously employed as a chef for several years on the Queen Frederica Cruise Line.
"Charlie" was a generous person, who loved children. He enjoyed spending his time walking, cooking, watching sports on television, going to the beach and vacationing in Greece. "Charlie" also traveled twice around the world.
He is survived by one brother, Steve Moutsos of Gardner; one sister, Tasia Stamatiou and her husband Jack of Athens, Greece; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Elefteria Zogar of Athens, Greece.
A Remembrance Service in honor of "Charlie" will be held Saturday, September 22nd at 5:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Saturday, September 22nd from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Burial Services were held in Greece.
