Kevin R. Nowlan, 45, of Gardner, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021, after a brief illness.
Kevin was born in Gardner on December 8, 1975. He was the son of the late Sylvia (Frenette) Nowlan and Gerald Nowlan of New Brunswick, Canada.
Kevin attended Holy Rosary School, Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, and Gardner High School, where he graduated with the Class of 1995. His work history includes employment at Garlock Printing, New England Wooden Ware, and Price Chopper.
In his early years, Kevin played in the Youth Hockey League and spent many summer weekends camping with family and friends.
As an adult, he became a devoted fan of New England professional sports and evolved into a collector and online trader of sports memorabilia. An entertainment buff, he owned a large assortment of movies and music. He regularly hunted for bargains at the Rietta Ranch Flea Market. At home, he often cooked on the backyard grill.
He leaves his precious daughter, Alyson; a brother, Tim of California; his father, Gerald Nowlan of New Brunswick; his Pepere, Julien Frenette, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Calling Hour on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
The family asks that all those in attendance please adhere to wearing face masks.
