Kevin P. Kruger

Kevin P. Kruger, 69, of Hubbardston, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, April 4, 2025, in Heywood Hospital, after being stricken ill.

Born in Gardner of November 21, 1955, he was the son of the late John P. and Pauline H. (Kirby) Kruger. Kevin graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1974. At the time of his passing, he was a bus driver employed by JP McCarthy Bus for many years. He loved his students, past and present that he was able to drive every day. He was previously employed by Simplex Time Recorder as a final test inspector for 33 years until his retirement in 2011.

Kevin was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at Holy Spirit Chapel. He was a member of the Acadien Social Club of Gardner, the Turnpike Rod and Gun Club of Ashburnham, the Hubbardston Rod and Gun Club and Late Model Bus Organization. Kevin enjoyed fishing and traveling, especially in his Volkswagen collection of cars, visiting various sites throughout the region and never turning around. His greatest joy was when he was with his friends, treasuring the time and memories made.

Kevin is survived by his brother, Daniel Kruger and his wife Jennifer of Florida; his best friend, John Netsel of Hubbardston; nephews and niece, Timmy and Michael Kruger; and Jennifer Holden; and several cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister, Kelly Lapierre.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Acadien Social Club, 193 Parker Street, Gardner, MA 01440. “The Big Chill” one of Kevin’s favorite movies, story line was having the biggest party in your honor and you are not there, this is what we will be doing for Kevin that day.
