Kenneth M. "Ken", "Stoney" Stone, 51, of 61 West Broadway, Gardner died Sunday, August 12, 2012 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner surrounded by his family and his companion, following an illness.
Kenneth was born in Gardner on October 7, 1960, the son of Roland E. and Linda M. (Richard) Stone.
He graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School in Fitchburg with the Class of 1978.
Prior to becoming ill, he was a Maintenance Technician employed by Tyco of Westminster for many years.
Kenneth loved fishing, especially on Lake Ontario. He also enjoyed reading and fly tying.
He was a member of the Deep Sea Club of Gardner and a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Gardner.
Besides his parents, he leaves his significant other, Sue-Ellen Gile of Gardner; one sister, Sharron Como and her husband Michael of Warren; two aunts, Brenda Lehtinen and her husband Wayne and Audrey Faucher; two uncles, Ken Stone and his wife Marcia and James Stone and his wife Patricia; one niece, Lauren Como; one nephew, Matthew Como; and many cousins. He was predeceased by one uncle, Alton Stone and by one aunt, Marsha Richard Lison.
Funeral Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
