Kenneth R. Palumbo

August 12, 1959 — April 23, 2007

Kenneth "Ken" R. Palumbo, 47, of 160 Narrow Lane, Phillipston, died Monday, April 23rd in his residence following a lengthy illness.

Born on August 12, 1959, he was the son of the late Richard and Leona (Jenkins) Palumbo.

He was a CAD Engineer last employed by Textron Systems, Inc. of Wilmington for 7 years. He previously worked at Innovative Molds Solutions of Westminster and Digital Co. in Maynard.

He was a 1977 graduate of Fitchburg High School. Ken was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, music and especially loved his children.

He leaves his wife of 18 months, Kathy (Radefeld) (Martin) Palumbo of Phillipston; 2 daughters, Kimberly Anne Palumbo and Alissa Leona Palumbo, both of Auburn; 1 step-daughter Haley K. Martin of Phillipston; 2 sisters, Joanne Keuten and her husband Brad, Barbara Hatch and her husband Kevin, all of Grant, Nebraska; a brother-in-law Kevin Arsenault; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his former wife, Velinda Brown of Auburn. He was predeceased by a sister, Vivian (Palumbo) Arsenault who died in 1976.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 28th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in Lower Cemetery, Phillipston.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, April 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
