Kenneth P. "Kenny" Meunier, 64, of Templeton, died peacefully Sunday, August 13, 2017, in Heywood Hospital of Gardner, following a brief illness.
Kenny was born in Gardner on November 5, 1952, the son of the late Raymond J. and Madeleine M. (Dupre) Meunier.
He graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1971.
Kenny was employed in the Facilities and Grounds Maintenance Department of the Templeton Developmental Center of Baldwinville.
He was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was also a member of the Templeton Fish & Game Club and the Templeton Lions Club. Kenny volunteered at the Clara Barton Camp for diabetic girls and at the Ron Burton Training Village in Hubbardston.
Kenny was an avid outdoorsman who also loved gardening, taking care of his chickens and his dogs. He enjoyed woodworking, construction, trips to Foxwoods and going for car rides. He treasured spending time with his family, and loved time spent at his parent's camp at Templeton Fish and Game.
Kenny leaves his wife of 45 years, Deborah "Debbie" (Ganson) Meunier of Templeton; two daughters Holly A. Pasquale and her husband Chris and Amy L. Meunier and her fiancé Chris Lafrennie; one brother, Ronald Meunier of Gardner; three grandchildren, Aaron LeBlanc, Desiree Filz and Emily Pasquale; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Meunier.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 21st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Monday, August 21st from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
