Kathleen A. "Kathy" Lutes, 52, of 106 S. Main Street, Ashburnham , formerly of Clinton and Belchertown, died suddenly Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner following a brief illness.
Kathy was born in Clinton on July 14, 1958, the daughter of Thomas A. and Mary F. (Brierley) Lutes.
Kathy was a member of St. John's Church in Clinton. She was also a member of Seven Hills Family Services and it's Day Hab Program at the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association.
Kathy enjoyed "hanging out" with her friends, listening to music, attending concerts in the park and going for long rides.
She leaves her mother, Mary F. (Brierley) Lutes of Clinton; two brothers, Thomas A. Lutes, Jr. of Clinton and James Lutes of Rutland; two sisters, Barbara Hantzis and her husband Bill of Clinton and Margaret Lutes of Winchendon; several nieces and nephews. Kathy also leaves her caregivers, Bernard and Donna Christoforo of Ashburnham, who opened their home and hearts to her for 23 years.
Kathy was predeceased by her father, Thomas A. Lutes and by two brothers, Joseph and John Lutes.
A Graveside Service will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Clinton at a later date.
