Karen L Drisdelle

Karen L. (Magee) Drisdelle, 41, of 413 Rear Pleasant Street, Gardner, died November 11, 2014 in her residence, after a long illness.
Born in Lowell on February 20, 1973, she was the daughter of Michael and Joeann (Long) Magee of Gardner.
She graduated with honors from Lowell High School of Lowell with the Class of 1991. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Technology with honors from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
Karen was a Medical Technologist employed by Lahey Health of Burlington, retiring recently. She was previously employed by Harvard Vanguard of Needham and Heywood Hospital of Gardner.
Karen enjoyed reading, shopping, partying with her sister Becky, listening to music and comedy. She loved angels and her dog "Ted".
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #747 Ladies Auxiliary of Gardner.
Besides her parents, Karen leaves her husband, Gene P. Drisdelle of Gardner; one brother, William Magee and his wife Michelle of Lowell; three sisters, Tammy Magee and her husband Richard Williams of Dracut, Heidi Magee of Lowell and Rebecca Taft and her husband Darren of Gardner; her father and mother-in-law, Leo and Dorothy Drisdelle of Gardner; two brothers-in-law, William and John Drisdelle of Gardner; Godfather, Bob Long of Lowell, Goddaughter, Mackenzie Taft of Gardner; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral Services and burial will be held Wednesday, November 19th at 2:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, November 19th from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gardner Animal Control Facility, with checks made payable to City of Gardner Shelter Fund, c/o Board of Health, 95 Pleasant Street, Room 29, Gardner, MA 01440.
